Max for Live *map — Controller

*map is a midi effect which can be mapped to any control parameter in the DAW session with precise fine tuning.

While a parameter in Ableton Live neither can be controlled by several hardware controllers nor by more then one Macro at software level at the same time, it is possible to bypass these limitations to have different scaling capability when controlling a parameter.

The different midi effects allow to control

• one parameter with two dials of different scaling (2_bi)

• switch between coarse and fine tuning on a unipolar level (1_uni)

• switch between coarse and fine tuning on a bipolar level (1_bi)

The amount of fine tuning can be set as a percentage value related to the original coarse range.
