Max for Live *sq06 — Variable Step Sequencer
*sq06 is a four-voice step sequencer with variable stepsize in which each voice is assigned a pitch and length value. The individual events can be assigned velocity values.
The events of each sequence voice can be subdivided into different quantities based on the grid. For quick access, all downbeats can be created, moved and duplicated at once.
The sequencer's clock is permanently synchronized with the DAW host, so grid-based note values serve as a pulse. The sequencer's grid adapts to the measure settings in terms of the number of possible events. In addition, the sequencer's grid can also be decoupled from the DAW host's measure setting and grid values can be quickly halved and doubled.
